Ed released his debut EP 'The Orange Room' in 2005.
Sheeran broke into the mainstream in 2011 with his 'No. 5 Collaborations Project' EP featuring Wiley, Devlin, Ghetts and others.
In 2008, he relocated to London in search of live gigs, playing almost every single day of the year in 2009 before later hitting the road with Just Jack.
He soon released debut album '+' in 2011 which included singles 'Drunk', 'The A Team', 'Lego House' and 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You'.
In 2014, he contributed the song 'I See Fire' to the end credits of 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' and released his second number one album 'X', produced by Rick Rubin.
In 2015 Ed won British Male solo Artist and British Album of the year for 'X' and also co-hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards in the same year.
In 2016, he won two Grammys for his song 'Thinking Out Loud' and ended his year-long hiatus.
In 2017 he launched two new singles - 'Shape of You' and 'Castle on the Hill' - with the prospect of his third studio album entitled 'Divide'.
May 2019 brought the release of the Sheeran-Justin Bieber track "I Don't Care," the first single from Sheeran's upcoming studio album, No.6 Collaborations Project.
The English hitmaker followed with No.6 ultimately producing eight singles before picking up a Grammy nod for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Sheeran has surfaced in numerous films as himself, including Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) and the Beatles-inspired musical Yesterday (2019).
He also later appeared in an episode of Game of Thrones and the Amazon anthology series Modern Love.
Ed has received a total of 43 awards and 107 nominations till 2021. (yet to be updated)
